PIEMONTE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TENDERS: SOUTH-EAST BASIN TWO LOTS UP FOR TENDER COVERING 13,8 MILLION KM/YEAR AND €28,5 MILLION IN ANNUAL COMPENSATION

The structure of the South-East Basin is clearly defined in the AMP report: two lots are put out to tender for €28,5 million per year in compensation and €15,3 million per year in expected revenue, separated from the weak-demand sub-lot of Val Borbera, which is handled outside the competitive perimeter.

The services under tender are organized into two main lots, totaling 13,870,286 km/year, with annual compensation of €28,594,722 and expected fare revenues of €15,397,158. The overall average value stands at €3.17 per km, with a planned commercial speed of approximately 31.4 km/h.

Lot 1 (AT) covers the area of Asti, Canelli, and Villanova d’Asti, for 5,144,088 km/year, with €10,517,051 per year in compensation and €5,663,027 per year in expected revenues.
Lot 2 (AL), on the other hand, includes Alessandria, Casale Monferrato, Novi Ligure, Ovada, and connections with the surrounding territory, for 8,726,198 km/year, with €18,077,671 per year in compensation and €9,734,131 per year in expected revenues.

Alongside the tendered lots, a weak-demand sub-lot is предусмотрено in Val Borbera (274,502 km/year and €590,000 per year in compensation), directly awarded and treated separately from the competitive perimeter.

This structure confirms a non-uniform configuration of the basin.

Overall, the South-East Basin also presents itself as a mature structure: identified lots, clearly defined territories, quantified economic figures, and an explicit separation between tendered services and weak-demand services.
