have recorded a particularly high number of strikes announced, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Local Public Transport:<\/strong> 341 strikes proclaimed, with <strong>73 days of strike<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Air Transport:<\/strong> 203 strikes proclaimed (<strong>33 days<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Environmental Hygiene:<\/strong> 183 strikes proclaimed (<strong>60 days<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Regions and Local Authorities:<\/strong> 137 strikes proclaimed (<strong>82 days<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cleaning and Service:<\/strong> 81 strikes proclaimed (<strong>39 days<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At the regional level in 2023 have been proclaimed <strong>1.422 strikes<\/strong>with a geographical distribution is uneven. Some regions experienced a more significant impact than others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"914\" height=\"1132\" src=\"https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3238\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab2.png 914w, https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab2-480x594.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 914px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Notes:&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*The total number of proclamations to strike at the regional level in 2019 (1.996) is lower than that reported in the general table (2.345), because the latter also includes the proclamations of the strikes of national significance (349). In the same way, in 2023, the total number of proclamations regional (1.422) is lower than general (1.646), as the latter also includes proclamations, national (224).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, the regions that have seen the <strong>the greatest number of strikes proclaimed<\/strong> were the <strong>Campania<\/strong>, with <strong>208 <\/strong>strikes, followed by the <strong>Lombardia<\/strong>where they have been issued <strong>178<\/strong>. Also the<strong>Emilia-Romagna<\/strong> he has recorded a significant number of protests, with <strong>131<\/strong> strikes, while in the <strong>Lazio<\/strong> it was a total of <strong>126<\/strong>. Closes the list of Sicily, with 123 strikes proclaimed in the course of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the contrary, some regions have recorded a <strong>limited number of strikes proclaimed<\/strong> in 2023. The <strong>Molise<\/strong> it is the region with the lowest, with just <strong>6<\/strong> strikes, followed by the <strong>Valle d&#039;aosta<\/strong>where they have been issued <strong>11<\/strong>. In <strong>Abruzzo<\/strong>the total stands at <strong>13<\/strong> strikes, while in the <strong>Brands<\/strong> were <strong>14<\/strong>. Closes the list Sardinia, with 16 strikes proclaimed in the course of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By comparing the data with the 2019, there was a <strong>the overall reduction in the number of strikes proclaimed 28.8%<\/strong>passing by <strong>1.996 in 2019 1.422 in 2023<\/strong>.The transport sector has undergone a decline of \u2013<strong>9,9%<\/strong> in the number of strikes proclaimed between 2019 and 2023, but has seen increased its incidence on the total number of strikes effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1622\" height=\"918\" src=\"https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3235\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab3.png 1622w, https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab3-1280x724.png 1280w, https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab3-980x555.png 980w, https:\/\/www.basco-t.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Tab3-480x272.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) and (max-width: 1280px) 1280px, (min-width: 1281px) 1622px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Notes:&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*The transport sector is analyzed does not take in consideration the shipping and transport of goods, both on road and on track.<\/em><em>** For <\/em><strong><em>GG interested<\/em><\/strong><em> are the days in which you were held protest actions, including strikes, national, regional or local.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The strikes, which were proclaimed in transport in 2023:<\/strong> <strong>639<\/strong> (against <strong>709<\/strong> in 2019, -9,9%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Strikes the actual transport in 2023:<\/strong> <strong>443<\/strong> (against <strong>442<\/strong> in 2019, almost unchanged, +0,2%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The weight of the transport sector on the total strikes:<\/strong> increased by 30,2%<strong> <\/strong>to<strong> 38,8%<\/strong> (+8,6%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By analyzing the portfolios specific:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Air Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proclamations: <strong>203 in 2023<\/strong> (-13,6%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actual: <strong>141 in 2023<\/strong> (+52,6%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Days interested in: <strong>33 days in 2023<\/strong> (+57,1%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the reduction of the proclamations, the strikes, the actual increased significantly, with a greater impact on the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Rail Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proclamations: <strong>95 in 2023<\/strong> (-5,0%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actual: <strong>57 in 2023<\/strong> (+61,0%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Days interested in: <strong>34 days in 2023<\/strong> (-17,1%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More strikes are effective, but of shorter duration compared to the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Local Public transport (LPT)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proclamations: <strong>341 in 2023<\/strong> (-8,8%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actual: <strong>245 in 2023<\/strong> (+36,4%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Days interested in: <strong>73 days in 2023<\/strong> (-23,2%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the number of strikes, which were proclaimed in the transport sector decreased by 9.9% between 2019 and 2023, the relative weight of the total of the strikes in Italy has increased by 30,2%, 38.8% (+8,6%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also in terms of strikes effective, the transport sector has increased its incidence, passing from the 30,2% to 39,2% of the national total (+9%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that, although there are fewer strikes proclaimed than in the past, the transport sector has played a central role in labour unrest in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, therefore, the percentage of strikes effective than those proclaimed <strong>increased from of 62.3% and for 68.6% at the national level<\/strong>, demonstrating a greater determination in the implementation of the protests.
